Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Home Health Physical Therapist to provide patient care in Montgomery County, Ohio. The ideal candidate has at least one year of acute care PT experience and a valid state license to practice.

This full-time role involves delivering PT services in patients' homes, with a day schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and weekend shifts. A HomeCare HomeBase charting system is preferred but not required; drivers license and insurance are necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a PT in an acute care setting
• Valid state PT license required prior to start; cannot start with a pending license
• Home health experience desired
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance with candidate listed as a driver
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
• Sound clinical judgment and knowledge of therapy best practices
• Detail-oriented, observant, and disciplined work ethic with strong prioritization and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Home health setting providing PT services to patients in their residences
• Full-time schedule including Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday per week
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• HomeCare HomeBase charting system preferred but not required
• Responsibilities include delivering physical therapy services in a home care environment
• Requires ability to identify patient needs and implement effective solutions independently
• Open to candidates who can create positive impressions with diverse patients and care teams
