Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a traveling Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Front Royal, Virginia. Start date ASAP; 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts in a facility setting.

You will evaluate and treat patients across hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers, creating individualized plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence. Requires VA PT licensure and BLS; Doctorate preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations to determine treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain using evidence-based techniques.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management techniques.
