Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Washington, NC. The role requires a valid PT license and BLS, with a potential Doctorate preferred.

You’ll deliver evidence-based therapy, coordinate with a clinical team, and provide patient education during hospital and clinic shifts. We offer competitive pay and benefits; hours are 40 per week with 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, examinations, and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and goals.
• Implement therapy plans using techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate therapy equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to coordinate care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and prevention strategies.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment adhering to infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development.
