Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Topeka, Kansas. The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, and delivery of rehab services for referred patients, with a 40-hour work week and days shift.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process for licensure
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals determined by patient capacity and physician direction.
• Set realistic and achievable goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families.
• Develop a plan of care and provide skilled PT services in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals.
