Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Topeka, Kansas. The PT will handle evaluation, and plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting, while coordinating with the medical team and ensuring timely documentation.

The role requires 1 year of experience (exception: 6 months may be accepted with appropriate background). There is a 40-hour work week, dayshift, and travel benefits are included through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads may apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• AR RT, BLS, CCI required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for patients in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff and bill within the setting.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes; document per guidelines.
