Job summary

DayToDay Health seeks a travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, aiming to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life while traveling between sites and adjusting plans to diverse settings.

You will develop personalized rehabilitation plans using evidence-based techniques, operate and maintain therapy equipment, monitor progress, document outcomes, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure coordinated

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Strong clinical, communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 50–100 lbs and moving equipment.
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and patients.
• Proficiency in documentation and use of PC tools.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to irregular schedules.
• Visual acuity and sensory communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions through exams, tests, and history.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Operate and maintain specialized therapy equipment safely.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and document outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention, and self-management.
• Maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Contribute to discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patient recovery.
