Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Thornton, Colorado. This role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour daytime shifts, and a supportive clinical team in a travel setting.

Qualifications include a valid PT license and current BLS certification; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. New grads are welcome to apply and opportunities for professional growth are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests, history, and assessments to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on findings and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OTs and other staff for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in therapy sessions.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
