• Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• CAPTE Certification is required or current status.
• 1+ year outpatient clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening, and functional skills.
• Train patients in use of orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices.
• Demonstrate modalities including whirlpools, hot/cold packs, and ultrasound.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress including education for patient and family.
• Maintain a clean treatment area, follow safety policies, and report hazards.
• Establish professional relationships with patients and staff.
• Participate in special projects to improve quality and efficiency of care.
