Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 26-week assignment in La Plata, Maryland. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute a plan of care in the acute care setting, and coordinate with the medical team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred), holds a current BLS certification, and possesses state-specific licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience; new grads considered with appropriate background.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff following facility guidelines.
• Bill within the respective setting according to facility guidelines.
• Comply with the PT board rules and state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Utilize Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurer guidelines.
