Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist to join our team for a Baltimore, MD assignment. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and implement plans of care, and collaborate with the care team in an acute care setting.

The right candidate will have at least 6 months experience (1 year preferred), BLS, and state licensing. Expect 40 hours per week with a travel-friendly schedule and tax-free stipends as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and state-specific physical therapist licensing required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform bending/stooping as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff; bill within the setting per facility guidelines.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based care.
• Understand and apply state PT board rules and regulations; document per state/insurance guidelines.
• Use center computer systems to complete daily tasks and documentation.
