Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Bel Air, MD. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and execute a plan of care, and collaborate with a medical center team.

Responsibilities include supervising PTAs, billing per guidelines, adhering to state PT board rules, and maintaining accurate documentation using hospital EMR systems. Requires BLS, state licensing, and ability to stand/walk long periods.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience; exceptional candidate with 6 months may be accepted.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, medical terminology.
• Travel PT position in Bel Air, MD for 13 weeks, 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts.
• Experience supervising PTAs and support staff; billing within facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center staff and physicians for team care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and modify plan of care as needed.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; adjust as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
