Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Murfreesboro, TN. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure a team-focused approach.

The candidate should have 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, and current state licensure.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience required; 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification and state licensing required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform clinical duties in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee PTAs and therapy staff; supervise supportive personnel.
• Bill within the facility following CPT/organization guidelines and state requirements.
• Interface with medical staff and physicians to coordinate a team-based care plan.
• Document accurately in Medical Center EMR per state/insurance guidelines.
