Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Lithonia, GA. The 13‑week engagement requires a PT with 1 year of experience, or 6 months for exceptional candidates, and a valid BLS and state license.

Responsibilities include evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for acute care patients, supervision of PTAs, and timely charting in accordance with regulations. The role offers travel benefits and a 40-hour week schedule.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and have solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Perform timely documentation and billing within the setting.
• Collaborate with Medical Center staff and physicians to execute a team-based plan of care.
