Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Pinehurst, North Carolina is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment. The 13-week engagement requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour days, and involves evaluating, developing, and executing plans of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of PT experience (6 months accepted for exceptional cases), current BLS, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months PT experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification and state license required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and knowledge of anatomy/physiology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state PT board rules.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for care plan.
• Understand adaptive equipment.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines.
