Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Mesquite, TX seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting 12/21/2026. This 40-hour/week role includes 8-hour days in an acute care setting, with travel-specific benefits and guaranteed hours.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered for strong candidates) and must hold BLS and state licensing. Responsibilities include evaluation, plan of care, supervising staff, and accurate documentation in hospital systems.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting and ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Create and modify plan of care based on patient condition.
• Use hospital computer systems and document following guidelines.
