Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Plano, TX. The therapist will evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with mobility issues, aiming to improve function and reduce pain in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

The role requires TX licensure and BLS certification, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred. You will work a standard 8-hour day, 40 hours per week, in a travel capacity with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; new grads may apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and plan treatment.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs and goals.
• Implement PT interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes clearly.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on exercises, body mechanics and home programs.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and infection control.
