Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Fremont, California. The PT will provide evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.

Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged. BLS and state licensure are required. Expect supervision of PTAs, seamless interdepartmental collaboration, and accurate documentation consistent with state and facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• 6 months of PT experience required; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification required.
• State-specific licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as indicated by patient condition.
• Use hospital computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
