Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sandy Springs, GA. This travel PT role offers 40 hours per week with dayshift hours and 8-hour shifts.

The ideal candidate has 6 months of PT experience (new grads encouraged) and holds BLS plus state licensing to practice. You will evaluate, plan, and execute care while coordinating with the Medical Center team.

Qualifications

• 6 months of PT experience preferred; new grads welcome
• BLS certification and active state license required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-based plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated by patient condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per guidelines
