Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel assignment in Elgin, SC. The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting, while supervising PTAs and collaborating with medical staff.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (6 months minimum, 1 year preferred), BLS, and state licensure. The 13-week, 40-hour-per-week assignment runs during days, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• 6 months of experience required; 1 year preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and perform bending and stooping as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the setting following guidelines.
• Interface with center personnel and physicians for care planning.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient needs change.
• Utilize center computer systems and ensure timely documentation.
