Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kennewick, Washington. The PT will work 40 hours per week, days, in an acute care setting with travel employment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of PT experience (6 months may be considered) and current BLS and state licensure. Responsibilities include evaluating and implementing a plan of care, supervising PTAs and support staff, handling billing, documenting per guidelines, and coordinating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Requires BLS certification.
• State-specific PT licensure required.
• 1 year of PT experience; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and perform manual therapy as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within facility guidelines and process appropriate documentation.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create, then modify a plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems to document daily tasks.
