Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kennewick, WA. The PT will evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts.

Requirements include 6 months of experience (new grads welcome), BLS and state licensure. The role involves collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure a team-focused plan of care and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without discomfort.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as needed.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state/insurer guidelines.
