Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a licensed Physical Therapist for a 4-week travel assignment in Stockbridge, GA. You will evaluate and treat patients, develop customized rehabilitation plans, and work with a clinical team to ensure high-quality care in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

You’ll provide evidence-based treatments, monitor progress, and educate patients on home programs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active GA physical therapy license or eligible to practice
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification required
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
• New grads welcome to apply if qualified
• Other state licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using exams, history and tests to plan treatment
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate therapy equipment safely and maintain devices
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety
• Maintain infection control and safety standards throughout therapy
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
