Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a traveling Physical Therapist for a 26-week assignment in Silver Spring, MD. The role offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour days, with a travel designation and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred; New grads welcome to apply; other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and patient goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain safe treatment environment following infection control and safety standards.
