Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for travel assignments in Ellensburg, WA. The PT will oversee therapy staff, bill in the setting, and ensure adherence to state boards while coordinating with physicians to implement a plan of care. The role requires PT licensure, BLS, and the ability to manage evolving patient needs.

The position includes 40-hour weeks with 8-hour shifts and a 13-week contract. Travel benefits, weekly pay, and medical/benefits packages are provided.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience required; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification and state licensing required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• BLS and 2 years of experience referenced in listing.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians for care plans.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/create plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as patient condition changes.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks.
• Provide timely, accurate documentation per guidelines.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
