Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, AZ. The PT will evaluate and implement a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, across 40 hours per week.

New grads are welcomed; however, 1 year of experience is preferred. Must have BLS and state licensing to begin, with duties including documentation and collaboration with medical staff.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
• PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility.
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Tucson, AZ. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
