Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This PT will evaluate and develop plans of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, with supervision of PTAs and coordination with Medical Center staff.

Requirements include 6 months of PT experience, BLS and state-specific licensing; candidates with 1 year are preferred, new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads may apply.
• BLS and state-specific licensing are required.
• PTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• BLS, 2 Years* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines
• Understand state board rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care

• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted.

As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

Tasks

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
