Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role runs for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and a standard 8-hour day shift. Start date is 08/31/2026, and the position is travel-based through MedPro's allied staffing network.

The incumbent will assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with the care team to meet rehabilitation goals. Requires licensure, NPTE, CPR, and an accredited education.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy with NPTE passed.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience.
• Current state license as a Registered PT or in the process of licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients needing rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals.
• Set realistic goals, document patient status, and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate goals.
