Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Salem, VA. A valid PT license and BLS (AHA/ARC) are required. The role offers 40 hours per week and days shifts in a travel setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• New grads welcome to apply; Doctorate preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans using evidence-based techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the patient record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in all treatment areas.
