Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Salem, VA. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a chance to impact patients across hospitals and clinics.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PT license, BLS certification, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads are welcome to apply. Comprehensive benefits and support are provided by Fusion.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• Experience in physical therapy preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and determine functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs aligned with patient goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise and injury prevention.
• Maintain safe treatment environments and adhere to infection control protocols.
