Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Havertown, PA. The PT will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

The role requires a PA license and BLS certification. Doctorate in PT is preferred; new grads may apply. Benefits include paid time off, insurance options, and support from a clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred.
• Experience in physical therapy is preferred; new grads are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments.
• Implement PT treatment plans using exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Participate in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions.
