Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Tawas City, MI. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement rehab plans, and collaborate with a clinical team to improve mobility and reduce pain.

The role requires a state PT license and BLS; Doctorate is preferred. Travel schedule includes 40 hours/week, days, with comprehensive benefits and travel support.

Qualifications

• Valid PT license required by state regulations.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Doctorate degree preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement therapy plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain therapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to home or community settings.
