Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in Saco, Maine. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a chance to work in a supportive clinical team.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid PT license, be eligible for BLS, and possess a Doctorate in physical therapy (preferred). Experience is welcome, with new grads considered for the right fit.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment need.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
