Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Gearhart, OR. This travel role offers 40 hours per week, with a dayshift schedule and supportive clinical team.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing rehab plans, implementing therapy, and coordinating with the care team. Applicants must hold a valid Oregon PT license and BLS; Doctorate preferred. Start date 2026-10-05.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in Oregon.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standard tests and history; identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely; maintain and calibrate devices as required.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes clearly in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in therapy sessions.
• Participate in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
