Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Macomb, IL. The role requires licensing, a BLS credential, and will involve evaluation, treatment planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient mobility and independence.

You will work 40 hours per week, with dayshift hours and a start date of 11/09/2026. Comprehensive benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in Illinois
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and patient history to identify needs
• Develop personalized rehab programs based on assessments and goals
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices as required
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety to support recovery
• Maintain safe treatment environment adhering to infection control standards
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions to home care
