Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in San Jose, California. The role offers a 40-hour work week and a broad scope to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across hospital, clinic, and rehab settings.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and help patients regain mobility and independence while benefiting from a comprehensive travel package.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in California
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred)
• New grads welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and history.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe, compliant treatment environment with infection control.
