Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Payson, AZ. The PT will work 40 hours per week in a day shift, collaborating with staff to deliver care and manage a plan of care across facilities.

Experience: minimum 6 months preferred; new grads welcome with BLS and state licensing; ACLS may be required. Roles include supervising PTAs and interfacing with medical personnel to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• ACLS may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
