Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Oro Valley, AZ. The assignment requires 1 year of experience, with 6 months acceptable for exceptional applicants, and demands BLS and state licensing.

You will oversee PTAs, coordinate care with physicians, and ensure compliant documentation. The role emphasizes a team-oriented environment with daily 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, for an exceptional candidate with appropriate background, 6 months may be accepted.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Comply with state PT board rules and regulations.
• Coordinate with Medical Center staff and physicians on plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and evaluate/modify plan of care.
• Document timely and accurately per guidelines.
