Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Arroyo Grande, California. You will perform assessments and provide direct patient care to rehabilitation patients under physician orders, developing and administering individualized plans of care.

The role requires a Doctorate or a Bachelor's with NPTE, an accredited education, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process for licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program per physician orders.
• Document and record patient condition and progress.
• Educate patients and families in physical therapy methods.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate goals for each patient.
