Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an acute travel assignment in Arroyo Grande, California. The selected PT will work 40 hours per week on days, for a 13‑week duration, with supervising duties and plan-of-care management.

Requirements include 1 year of experience (6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensure. This role emphasizes teamwork, documentation and adherence to facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1 year of travel PT experience preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to ensure team-based care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; adjust as patient condition changes.
• Use center computer systems and document per guidelines.
