Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Manahawkin, NJ. The PT will work 40 hours/week for 13 weeks, starting 10/05/2026, with day shifts. 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates. Must have BLS and state licensure.

The role involves supervising PTAs and staff, billing per setting guidelines, and adhering to PT board regulations while coordinating with Medical Center staff to implement a team-based plan of care.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs should have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
