Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Ashland, KY. You'll evaluate patients, design rehab plans, and help them regain mobility across hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

Requirements include a valid PT license and BLS certification. Preference is given to doctoral PTs; new grads may apply. Competitive pay, robust benefits, and support from a clinical team are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• PT experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on findings and goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-management.
