Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Belcertown, MA. The PT will evaluate patients, develop and implement a plan of care, and coordinate with the care team in an acute care setting.

The right candidate has 1 year of PT experience (6 months accepted for exceptional backgrounds) with BLS and state licensing. Duties include supervising PTAs, documentation, and ensuring compliance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience; exceptional candidates with different backgrounds may be considered.
• BLS certification and state licensing required to begin assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations in acute care.
• Oversee PTAs and support staff; ensure timely documentation and billing per setting guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical center staff and physicians to coordinate care.
• Adapt plans as patient conditions change and ensure compliance with rules.
