Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a traveling Physical Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Easton, MD. This position offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift and requires a valid PT license and BLS certification.

Experience is preferred, including a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, though new grads may apply. You will evaluate patients, develop rehab plans, and work with a clinical team to ensure high-quality care across hospitals and clinics.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and patient goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention.
• Maintain safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions in community/home settings.
