Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 10-week assignment in Sanford, North Carolina. The role offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, with a focus on delivering evidence-based therapy and helping patients regain mobility and independence.

You will evaluate patients, plan and implement personalized rehabilitation programs, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care in hospital or rehab settings.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license required (state regulations)
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred; new grads welcome

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and identify functional limitations; design rehab plan
• Implement PT treatments to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes in medical records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists for coordinated care
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and safety
• Maintain safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control
