You will evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, document care, and ensure compliance with physician orders and regulations. Georgia PT licensure and orthopedic experience are required, with CPR certification and outpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Active CPR certification.
• Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of practice.
• Experience in orthopedics is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans focused on discharging patients within an established length of stay.
• Document patient care accurately, including goal writing and charge entry in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment.
• Complete state mandated continuing education requirements to maintain professional licensure.
• Actively pursue professional development opportunities and apply learned information to improve service quality.
• Adhere to safety protocols ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
