The role requires a PT degree, 6–12 months outpatient experience, CPR certification, and active state licensure. You will supervise students, pursue ongoing education, and uphold professional standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for the practice of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on patient progress towards discharge.
• Document patient care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner.
• Ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance guidelines.

• Adhere to the State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.

This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that allow for effective return to community activities.

As an educator, the therapist serves patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves while upholding the values and standards of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on patient progress towards discharge.
• Document patient care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including assessments and charge entries.
• Ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance guidelines.

• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.

Schedule
