Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in Tucker, Georgia. This position offers a 13-week engagement with 40 hours per week in a day shift.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment needs
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of devices
• Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self-management techniques
• Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development
• Contribute to discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home-based settings
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
