Sentara Therapy Center Granby in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 14-week assignment. This temporary full-time, day-shift role offers 40 hours per week at $65.00 per hour.
The therapist will perform therapeutic modalities per standards, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes. Virginia PT licensure and BLS are required; ortho and neuro experience are preferred.

Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations. Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures. Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.
Required license must be valid in state of practice.
Sentara Therapy Center- Granby is conveniently located within the Granby YMCA in the heart of historic Ghent’s neighborhood. Our center is a comprehensive rehabilitation facility equipped to meet patient rehabilitation needs.
