6 Degrees Search is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in North Charleston, SC and surrounding areas. The position requires traveling to Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, Goose Creek, Summerville, and other locations, with a 6am-5pm schedule on weekdays.

The project lasts about 3 months with potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate has a valid phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required.
• Minimum 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and recording maintenance data.
• Collects and stores specimens per procedures; explains venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and prepare samples for transport.
• Ensure accuracy of test requisitions and document results per protocol.
