Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract opportunity in North Charleston, SC and surrounding areas. The role requires travel to Mt. Pleasant, West Ashley, Goose Creek, Summerville, and Walterboro locations, with a 6am-5pm schedule, Monday to Friday.

The position demands at least 1 year of venipuncture experience, valid phlebotomy certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Mileage reimbursement is provided and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination; collect and store specimens.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection processes clearly and courteously to patients.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test orders; ensure requisitions match specimens.
